THE K CLUB

A project born out of Jacquire King’s vision to have musician friends come together to create inspired and original music productions as a collective.

The intent was to include all styles of music, having no limitations other than to fulfill the group’s shared creative muse. Originally formed around an opportunity to create compositions for Meta’s Sound Collection, the group now includes several artist projects that have naturally evolved from making music together.

K CLUB RECORDS

Jacquire King’s independent record label in partnership with Interstellar Music Services. The imprint serves as the home for The K Club’s recorded music as well as other releases that are outside the collective but reflect Jacquire’s vast musical interests.

DSD

Working under producer Jacquire King as assistant engineers, Dawson March, Sam Horn, and Dawson Gnewikow (DG), were encouraged to create music together.

Jamming after recording sessions turned into making quick sketches, which eventually led to recording full songs. The trio quickly gained momentum after creating “Tequila Sunset,” solidifying their sound by combining genres and different styles of music.

DSD is a melting pot of DG’s hip hop inspirations, Sam’s indie flavors, and Dawson’s jazzy touches. This results in music that explores modern production techniques and showcases distinctive musical ideas.

DOSE

A tale of two Dawsons - Dawson March and Dawson Gnewikow (DG) - brought together by producer Jacquire King and branded because of their same first name.

DOSE is a dreamy fusion of lo-fi hip-hop and electronic sounds with jazzy vibes. Dawson March started his music career as a DJ and an electronic/hip-hop music creator, with early inspiration from Skrillex, Nujabes, and Snarky Puppy. DG found his passion for music through hip-hop in high school, through the likes of $uicideboy$, XXXTentacion, and Lil Yachty. He then collaborated with friends with similar interests and started making hip-hop beats.

Dawson and DG work together as studio assistants for Grammy-winning producer, Jacquire King.

Dawson March

Blending his love of hip hop, electronic music, and jazz, Dawson March has created his own sonic landscape.

While working as an engineer under Grammy-winning producer Jacquire King, Dawson has developed an appreciation for the importance of performance and has been able to integrate this idea with his love of synthetic and programmed sounds.

Inspired by his piano playing, March is on a musical journey to continue exploring his creative curiosity.

Mustard

While Mustard had started as just a simple license plate, it is now the solo project of musician/audio engineer Sam Horn.

This condiment composer works alongside Jacquire King and his team out of The LBT Studio, with the group often contributing as Mustard’s musical collaborators. With roots in American Folk and Rock, Mustard aims to create a unique blend of music that invigorates and fortifies, without the calories.

Mustard draws influence from artists like Tame Impala, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Primus.
